Romo doesn’t remember a single thing about his life prior to waking up in a cargo bay. Thus, begins Romo’s Journey! Although he has a body, it is inferior as it is, he sets about building a better one with the help of a young female human, Peach. Peach is a talented creator who can create and install almost anything. Her dad, the captain of the space ship they are on heading to Mars is not quite sure how to move forward with Romo. Throw in some money-hungry saboteurs and you have an adventure!
Paul Joseph both wrote and narrated the audiobook. The storyline of the audiobook was well written. Joseph is a detailed writer who does a good job with imagery through words. His characters were well-developed, and his narration added more depth to the story. I enjoyed Romo’s learning and journey.
I am not a fan of music in or theatrically performed audiobooks as they tend to be too loud or over the top. This one was not. The music was tastefully done and did not override any of the narration.
I am curious as to where and what further adventures Romo takes with Peach on Mars!
If you enjoy Sci-Fi, this is a great listen for you. It’s fun and light and well-done.
Production quality was excellent.
