Joel has hit a major stumbling block – in his incessant facebook, twitter and other social media checking – he has posted a shocking picture! Now his new found career of helping people as a council member at the school has come to a dead stop, nearly ostracized by everyone, and now his wife wants him to step WAY out of his comfort zone?? Joel has to decide – hide and cower, or stand up and fight.
Hilarity ensues as Joel’s week just becomes worse and worse. Just when he thinks he’s cool, ZAP again! Rekindling his now super-hot marriage and seeing his father become a greater presence on social media is more than he can handle most of the time. But like a trooper, Joel takes it in stride but not without making the reader laugh until their body hurts!
Greagen continues the story of Joel with comedic twists and vaudevillian type situations that are all too real. How many of you have met the “PTO woman?” You know the one – the one who rules the roost and God forbid if you tread on her toes in any way … Yeah, that one. Greagen painfully puts Joel to the test as struggles to survive HER.
Again, Greagen does not disappoint with laughs on each page and vivid descriptions of characters in action. Short and funny; do not miss this series!

Like most stay at home parents, Joel is struggling to find himself again once his son heads off to school. Joel’s career as a blogger is kinda cool, lots of freebies with the potential of becoming famous or have “superstar” status. Living in denial about son’s possible autism, having to deal with his suicidal dad, and now his sexless marriage – Joel’s life is upside down. That is until his father discovers the internet … OMG … and Joel takes the responsibility for being his wife’s dick assistant. Just imagine how this one is going to play out!!!!!
Short, but full of laughs … we see ourselves and our family/friends in each of the characters that C.A. Greagen carefully creates. Greagen is vivid in his descriptions and creates wonderful, realistic characters that you can love, hate or just admire because they are sooooo real! The constant checking of his “social media status” OMG – so true!
I practically read this book to my husband one night, it was not only hilarious but so … us! Awesome series!

Christopher Hepworth has written an engrossing financial thriller that explores and reveals the appalling degree of greed and manipulation of a few for their own financial gain and political notoriety.
Sam Jardine is once again being called in to negotiate a monumental deal. Known by many as a gifted yet quirky negotiator, Jardine is known for getting the job done. His sense of morals and ethical behavior presents him as naïve but he is far smarter and all too often underestimated by most.
Jardine is asked to negotiate a deal that enmeshes him into a battle with a secret organization of men who are willing to sacrifice the environment for greed and political gain while also dealing with terrorists. In the end, Jardine must make hard decisions that could spin the world into global catastrophic financial and environmental disasters. All the while keeping a promise to an ancient one and trying to save his brother, Jack.
Christopher Hepworth is a masterful storyteller weaving complex situations by placing Jardine in unnerving encounters and non-stop action. Hepworth creates a realistic plot with believable and strong characters. I have admired Hepworth for his repeated use of strong female characters.
This is not a book that one can put down once started; Hepworth is enthralling and unexpected. His clever plot twists are flawless and his understanding of human nature is frighteningly accurate. One cannot read this and walk away from it unscathed, you will be haunted by it!
Definitely, a must-read for fans who enjoy thrillers, environmental issues, and action-packed adventures. Hepworth knows how to keep the suspense going!
I was given a copy of The Fall, a novel of post-apocalyptic Australia, Book 1 Conversion by S.T. Campitelli in exchange for an honest review.
The Fall, a novel of post-apocalyptic Australia, Book 1 Conversion by S.T. Campitelli is a detailed version of what we could be facing when a deadly and destructive virus spreads unchecked. Unlike most where there is one country or individual to blame, we are given another unique possibility.
The story begins in 2052. Survivors who are fortunate enough to have been granted admittance to these secure structures survive while others less fortunate are left outside to fend for themselves with the deadly creatures that roam freely seeking out fresh human meat to consume or infect. Not only do the Kulin survivors have the infected hordes to worry about but now they have some serious betrayal issues but also an insanely unbalanced villain that will wreak havoc.
Campitelli develops his characters vividly and with subtle yet in-depth detail. No one will have any issues visualizing each character. The plotline moves smoothly yet at a fast action packed rate that leaves one on the edge of their chair. I had difficulty putting the book down after I started it!
Campitelli is a masterful word-smyth building a storyline that is both engaging and exciting. His dialogs are perfectly matched to the situation and characters. He leaves no stone unturned, the audience has a thorough picture of what is going on yet still manages to surprise us multiple times! I like that he not only took Australia as the setting but the way he broke the story up giving his audience multiple points of view.
As a first time author, he hit it out of the ballpark with this book! He has definitely set the standards high for himself but I am confident he will continue – he is a gifted author who innately writes good solid books.
If you enjoy horror, apocalyptic stories, and realistic scenarios, this is the book for you!
A definite 5-star review due to his innate writing skills and unique storyline.

The Devil’s Kettle by J.J. Ollman is a unique tale in which friendship withstands everything. Three missing people in a short span of time, they all have one thing in common – well, two if you count the man that abducts them! Two friends and a reporter band together and try to track down their missing friend Seth. However, one friend has a deadly secret that is about to become well known and thus begins the thrilling page-turning novel by J.J. Ollman. The two friends, Mancoat and Hodges are perfect foils for the police and kidnapper working together effortlessly. The race against time and Hodges’ past is about to turn things around to an even deadlier outcome!
This is not just your ordinary missing person, serial killer, and mystery. Ollman makes it so much more when he keeps throwing in twists that keep you sitting on the edge of your chair with the turn of each page. Just when you think you have it figured out – wham! He does it again. Even with the barrage of twists and turns in the mystery, Ollman keeps the story clear and flowing. The reader never becomes confused about what’s going on – the story flows so well that the reader can do nothing but set back and wait for the next twist knowing it is coming but not just when or how!
The characters were well developed as was the storyline. Everything fit together nicely with no lingering questions. While this book involves characters from another book, this one can be read as a stand-alone book. It is clear that Hodges did something horrible but is a seeking redemption while also staying free.
This is perfect for people who enjoy the edge of your seat type of novel, mysteries, and thrillers. Ollman is a masterful storyteller. His books are well researched and pack a powerful punch! I cannot wait to read his other books!
Five-star review for its edge of your seat action!

Lauren is entrenched in the world of the ENL working to finish the microprocessor, saving Roxal and her planet, and defeating the PL. Having made the decision to walk away from her life and join ENL, Lauren has another opportunity to hook up with her ex on her own terms; well, once ENL approves it anyway.
With Lauren’s brief moments of independence, PL kidnaps her and from there it’s a fight that losing is fatal not only for Lauren but for planets Earth and Trebor.
Well written, Sharolyn Brown proves once again that her imagination and ability to captivate her audience is commanding. Building a strong plot line with details about characters and their roles can be daunting at times, but Brown is very proficient at storytelling making her clever with plot twists and turns, along with building strong connections with each character. Brown is a definite powerful and consummate story teller!
The story moved at a fast pace with ‘edge of your seat action’ throughout most of the book. There are twists totally unexpected!
I could not put this book down once I started reading it. I cannot wait to see where Brown takes her readers in book three! Excellent series!

Future World Rocks by Terry Tumbler was submitted to WordsAPlenty for an honest review.
Future Worlds by Terry Tumbler is a thrilling light-hearted read that will have you laughing. Take two scientists from a Nazi research lab who are hi-jacking a pod to escape the boredom of their research facility only to discover they are time traveling! They hook up with aliens with the ulterior motive of blending with the human race; then there are the MIB’s (Men in Black) who are faced with regulating the presence of alien life forms. There is a bit of science fiction and thriller/mystery involved as we sort through the good from the bad aliens.
Tumbler is a wildly imaginative writer who has the ability to engage readers with his quick wit and a sarcastic tongue that is endearing and hilarious. A science fiction space opera for all ages, Tumbler weaves a fantastic story with strong character development and plotlines. His world has something for everyone – mystery, science fiction, romance, comedy, and more. Tumbler keeps everything clear and focused, although there are a lot of characters he is detailed and vivid in his imagery that mixing them up is nearly impossible! The book is captivating!
WordsAPlenty highly recommends this book by Terry Tumbler as a must read! Guaranteed to make your day better.

I was given a copy of The Transmigrant by Kristi Saare Duarte in exchange for an honest review.
After a few pages, Duarte made me stop and think about everything I knew about Jesus and challenge it with: what if Jesus was just an ordinary, down-to-earth boy on a religious quest?
Duarte has taken the story of Jesus and woven it into a captivating story of Yeshua who leaves his home and future as a carpenter, setting out to cross the strict caste laws and become a rabbi. His love of God and his passion to share the Word of God is present in his day to day travels and struggles to find the inner peace and presence of mind that others before him had found – Lord Buddha, Krishna and the White Brahmins. Yeshua wants only to teach the word of a loving God but is challenged to wait patiently and teach only when he is deemed worthy and learns to only teach to those “more appropriate.” Yeshua breaks with tradition and begins teaching peasants and farmers and women.
The story of Yeshua mirrors the life of Jesus closely but with significant changes that are likely closer to reality than not; Duarte invites you to see the story of Jesus in a different light. Duarte’s telling of the story of Yeshua flows smoothly, weaving naturally in with stories from the Bible and history and reported experiences of Jesus. Duarte snags the imagination of her audience and challenges them. She encourages questions and further examination of one’s beliefs.
The life of Jesus is widely known but with her research of ancient scriptures and reported new findings by others, Duarte creates another version that could have happened. One that leaves room for thought.
Duarte’s writing style and vivid use of imagery captured me and held my attention. Her use of inner dialog allows the reader to experience the same questions and emotions as Yeshua. The reader cannot help but become enmeshed in his struggles and ultimate sacrifice. Her writing is calming and subtle – it is not forceful nor over powering. She simply offers a different scenario.
WordsAPlenty highly recommends this book with a five-star review; Duarte is an accomplished writer who questions and challenges the norm with a passion for other possibilities.

In To The Stars Through Difficulties, Romalyn Tilghman brought together three women who in their own right are strong. Their story centers around the funding of the Andrew Carnegie Foundation responsible for over 50 libraries built at the turn of the century in Kansas through the hard work of the women.
Traci was a baby thrown into the trash she makes her art from; Angelina seeks happiness through her Ph.D. dissertation on the Carnegie Libraries; and Gayle, a woman who survives a deadly and highly destructive tornado. Each of them come together in their strength and discover their effect on others and the change within themselves once they are allowed to grow.
A wonderful coming of age story about these women and the people in this small town of Kansas where Hope is a verb. Tilghman creates a delightful story that captures the imagination and hearts of her readers. Her story line flows well and each character whether major or minor are well developed. She speaks through strong women and the men who support them.
A light read with some very poignant moments. I have a librarian friend I am going to recommend this book to because it is a moving book that shows the passion of women and demonstrates that there are no boundaries to a woman’s desire.
Tilghman also provides historical information that is well woven throughout her story. A master storyteller, Tilghman captivates her audience and is inspirational. This is a book that I would highly recommend reading.
