New Release April 21, 2016
I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Marco DeAngelis is a retired Navy SEAL and an employee of Trident Security. Marco is a man of few words but is a man of action. Strong, intelligent, careful and trained he has undertaken many assignments facing life and death but never has he ever faced a challenge like this!
Marco is a confirmed, dominant bachelor who has made it very well known that there would be NO Mrs. DeAngelis or rug rats running around. There has only been one woman in Marco’s life and that was his sister; until she passed away from Cancer. Well, almost only one woman in his life; then again, there was the night of the funeral …
13 months after his sister’s funeral, Marco reconnects with his sister’s best friend, Harper who is seriously injured when a botched burglary goes wrong. Imagine his surprise when he discovers by accident that his life just became a bundle of joy!
Now it’s up to Marco and the Trident Security men and their women to help keep Harper safe; someone is out to kill Harper and keeps leaving Marco little presents. Will Marco keep Harper safe and still keep his heart intact?
Samantha Cole is a very talented storyteller. She expertly weaves a story that leaves her readers constantly wanting more! Her series is focused on the men of Trident Security – mostly all members of the BDSM community and their women. Tastefully done, Cole intertwines romance, BDSM, mystery, action and passion into each of her stories.
She is an accomplished author who cleverly adds in twists and surprises with each novel. Her novels are realistic and well researched. Watching from the Shadows, like all her other novels was brilliantly developed with a solid plot and each character was smartly developed.
I enjoy reading Cole’s series and look forward to each one.
WordsAPlenty awards Samantha Cole and Watching from the Shadows a 5 star review.
